5 Reasons We’re Excited About Fall
After such a hot summer in Boise, we’re happy to welcome the Fall Equinox and the cooler weather that it brings. Although the days are shorter, this shift in seasons brings so much to look forward to. For this month’s blog, we decided to share what we’re excited about this Fall!
Nature Inspired Colors
Fall brings colors that are bold but comforting, and we’re seeing many color trends inspired by nature that will be here to stay throughout the next year. The leaves in our beautiful mountains and along the Boise greenbelt are turning to warm and vibrant hues, and many of the big names in paint color are announcing or hinting at their colors of the year for the upcoming calendar. Sherwin-Williams recently announced Evergreen Fog as their 2022 Color of The Year, and we’re kind of in love!
Comfort in the Kitchen
We’re big fans of the comfort food and time spent in the kitchen that comes with the colder weather and approaching holidays. People tend to stay in more during this season, reminding us how important the kitchen is when it comes to bringing people together. If you were busy out-and-about this summer, this time of year might also be reminding you of the kitchen updates you’ve been wanting. We recommend using this season to figure out what’s working and what isn’t in your kitchen and the rest of your home.
Events in Boise
Football games, Halloween movies at Boise’s Egyptian Theatre, Oktoberfest celebrations around the Treasure Valley, this time of year has so many events to get excited about! If you’re a homeowner or part of the remodeling industry, be sure to check out the Boise Fall Home Show hosted by Spectra Productions October 22nd– October 24th. This event will be held at Expo Idaho and has hundreds of displays featuring all things home remodeling and landscaping.
Time with Loved Ones
This time of year often brings special moments and more time spent with our immediate family, extended family, and close friends. We all like to be comfortable when we travel, and to make others feel cozy and welcome when they visit our homes. It’s never too early to start planning for the holidays, whether it’s something small like freshening up with new bedding in the guest room, or something big like converting your extra garage space into an ADU for your parents to comfortably visit.
The Future
Working in the remodeling industry means looking to the future. Whether it’s century old homes, our business model, or our own personal journeys, we’re committed to positively evolving while always remaining true to ourselves. We’re using this season to reflect on all there is to be grateful for, and to set our intentions for the year to come. We hope you’re able to do the same!
